Tiroteio entre índios Xukuru-Kariri acontece durante a cerimônia fúnebre do pajé Miguel Celestino. O índio Dorgival Ricardo, que fugiu depois do ocorrido, tinha a intenção de matar o sobrinho do pajé, o ex cacique Manoel Celestino. Dorgival Ricardo já havia sido condenado pela Justiça a prestar serviços na Fundação de Amparo ao Menor, a doar cestas básicas e pagar quantias em dinheiro. Isso por ter esfaqueado o filho do pajé. De acordo com os índios, Dorgival não vem cumprindo as determinações judiciais.
