Governo Geisel recua, embora de forma sutil, na assinatura do decreto de emancipação indígena. Segundo a notícia, o recuo se deve à pressão crescente que diversos setores da sociedade nacional e internacional estavam fazendo sobre o governo e o Ministério do Interior.
