O indígena Xavante Mario Juruna acusou a Funai, os padres salesianos e a Polícia Federal de serem responsáveis pela sua expulsão da aldeia de Namunkurá (TI São Marcos). Segundo Juruna, sua persistência em ir ao Tribunal Russel na Holanda e a sua cobrança por direitos fizeram com que estes realizassem "campanha suja" contra ele. Além disso, responsabilizou-os por um golpe contra o cacique Aniceto e o capitão Cipriano, por sua participação na luta pelo território.
