Para por fim a um engano, que ficou popularizado, de que o ponto mais ao Norte do Brasil é o Oiapoque (AP), uma expedição chegou à nascente do Rio Uilã, no monte Caburaí, que fica 84 quilômetros mais ao Norte do que o Oiapoque.
