A Administração Executiva Regional (AER) da Funai em São Gabriel da Cachoeira/AM vai inaugurar, em breve, o Posto de Vigilância e Fiscalização Maturacá, na Terra Indígena Yanomami. O posto abrangerá também a região de Maiá e cerca de 1.200 Yanomami serão beneficiados. A população indígena também participa da fiscalização e vigilância da área.
