Um grupo de cerca de cem índios Kaingang invadiu um terreno da prefeitura de Salto do Jacuí, para reivindicar a demarcação de uma área de 48,7 mil hectares. Os indígenas só sairão do local quando a Funai tomar medidas para efetuar o laudo antropológico e fundiário da área.
